Step 1

Travelling from Milton Keynes
From Milton Keynes we suggest you jump onto the A5 heading North and leave the A5 at the ‘Old Stratford’ roundabout taking the fourth exit signposted A508 Northampton. Then take the second turning on the right, signposted Castlethorpe, and then follow directions in Step 2.

Travelling from the North and NorthamptonFrom junction 15 of the M1 take the A508 towards Milton Keynes.After approximately 7 miles take the left hand turn for Castlethorpe then follow directions in Step 2.

Travelling from London and the South Leave the M1 at Junction 14 and take the first exit onto Childs Way A509.At the first roundabout take the third exit onto Portway (H5) and follow this road (crossing numerous roundabouts) until you reach the A5 dual carriageway.Take the third exit onto the A5 heading North (signposted Hinckley).Continue on the A5 until you reach a large roundabout and take the fourth exit signposted A508 Northampton. Then take the second turning on the right, signposted Castlethorpe, then follow directions in Step 2.

Step 2

Once you have turned off the A508, take the first road on the left (signposted for Castlethorpe). You will go over the canal passing the Navigation Inn pub on your left. The road narrows suddenly to go over bridges. Immediately past the final stone bridge is the entrance to the Duck Race. Look out for our parking stewards who will direct you.
